Today we have weapon tables for the weapon: dagger.

The Thief and Elementalist professions get their own table because of their profession specialty. For Thief, it is Dual Skill and Elementalist is Attunement.

[36] Guild Wars 2 Builds - Necromancer: Conditionmancy For Team Play |Dungeon, WvWvW, PVE

By: Soul Step (Updated 7/17/2012)

(View Build)

This is kind of a rework of my [8] Dirty AOE build as it uses the same weapon set and trait point distribution. However, I changed most of the utility and healing skills as some of traits were geared towards to in work in tandem with the new set of skills.

"One aspect I loved about the Necromancer profession that carried over from Guild Wars 1, is the ability to apply conditions (debuffs) on enemies and spread them. It's like another way to deal damage aside from a direct damage route. This build is solely for that purpose, apply and stack conditions to multiple foes." This is what I have said when I created that build and this new build still holds to that idea. Additionally this is an optimal build for team play environment and settings.

Weapon Set:
Primary - Scepter/Dagger
Secondary - Staff

Healing, Utility, and Elite Skills:
Healing:
(6) Consume Conditions - This skills works in synergy with Epidemic and Plague Signet.

Utility:
(7) Epidemic - one of my favorite skills in Guild Wars 1. This one is all about spreading the love haha. Epidemic is essential when it comes to condition spiking mobs or opponents. Also ensures that no enemy is left clean.

(8) Signet of Spite - passive improves Power and your activating applies a lot of conditions.

(9) Plague Signet - passive acts as a team utility skill which can be used with Consume Conditions or activate it and use it on your enemy.

Elite:
(0) Plague This is perfect for the build. Condition spiking FTW!

Traits: Build output 20/30/0/20/0 build, concentrating on Curses, Spite and Blood Magic.
Spite:
(IV) Signet Mastery - reduces the cooldown on your Signet skills.

(VII) Spiteful Marks - this is to synergize with your Mark skills from the Staff weapon set

Curses:
(II) Hemophilia - scepter/dagger easily provides bleeding stacks and this will only increase the pressure on the enemies.

(VII) Master of Corruption - for Epidemic mainly as to have readily available to use.

(XI) Lingering Curse - makes your bleeding and cripple condition last longer.

Blood Magic:
(III) Mark of Evasion - provides another way to leave a Mark.

(X) Quickening Thirst - perfect for constantly moving around with your team and evading easier.

This build is most effective against a group of enemies. In dungeons, this is useful in applying pressure to mobs you'll encounter. In WvWvW it's very useful in more active group battles going on in the map.

You are mostly using Epedemic to spread the conditions to all nearby enemies. Combine Signet of Spite and Plague Signet with Epidemic to for condition spiking. Also keep an eye on conditions spammed by your allies. Plague Signet's passive and Consume Conditions will work wonders for healing yourself when your team is being condition spiked or pressured.

[34] Guild Wars 2 Builds - Thief: Dolyak Supply Stopper |WvWvW

By: Soul Step (Updated 7/16/2012)

(View Build)

An aspect of WvWvW is keeping your supplies up so your World can continue to build and repair almost anything that will help you attack or defend points in the map. However, supplies need to be shipped from supply depots. This is where this build comes in as to stopping/slowing down your enemy's supply chain.

Weapon Set:
Primary: Dual Dagger
Secondary: Pistol/Dagger

Healing, Utility, Elite Skills:
Healing:
(6) Hide in Shadows

Utility:
(7) Caltrops - cripple to slow down that dolyak!

(8) Needle Trap - immobilizes the dolyak and poisons it too!

(9) Scorpion Wire - used to pull the dolyak back to you.

Elite:
(0) Thieves Guild - extra help to take the dolyak down.

Traits: Build output is 20/30/0/0/20 as the chosen traits focuses on slowing down the dolyak and taking them down as fast as possible.
Deadly Arts:
(II) Poisonous Traps - provides an extra 10s of poison for your needle trap.

(IX) Dagger Training - extra damage when using your daggers

Critical Strikes:
(VI) Executioner - helps kill off the dolyak faster when you drop it to low health

(IX) Combo Crit Chance - extra critical hit chance for your dual dagger skill to land.

(XI) Ankle Shots - used with your pistol for continuing to slow down the dolyak while your skills are on recharge.

Trickery:
(III) Uncatchable - another way for you cripple the dolyak.

(VIII) Trickster - reduces the cooldown for Caltrops and Scorpion Wire.

This build provides plenty of way to apply Cripple to the dolyak to slow it down. You'll have plenty of burst damage with dual daggers, and when your skills are on cooldown switch to pistol/dagger to continue slowing down the supply dolyak.

[33] Guild Wars 2 Builds - Necromancer: Scepter/Dagger & Dagger/Warhorn "Minion Master Conditionova" Build |WvWvW and PVE

By: Soul Step (Updated 7/16/2012)

(View Build)

Something that I enjoy about being a Minion Master, is that you can go various routes to fit a certain type of game play. In my first Minion Master build, it was focused on survival and strengthening your Minions. This build has focus on keeping pressure on enemies through conditions as well as some condition spiking.

Weapon Set:
Primary: Scepter/Dagger - Your more offensive set with 4 skills that apply conditions
Secondary: Dagger/Warhorn - Your support/survival set

Healing, Utility, Elite Skills:
Healing:
(6) Summon Blood Fiend

Utility:
(7) Summon Bone Minions - Putrid Explosion + Death Nova = OUCH!

(8) Summon Bone Fiend - I chose this for the Immobilize effect. It's such a useful condition

(9) Signet of Spite - The passive will boost your Power and when activated you throw 5 conditions at your foes :)

Elite:
(0) Summon Flesh Golem - obvious Minion Master choice

Traits: Build output is 30/10/30. Maximize Spite to not only be a powerhouse but increase you condition duration by 30%. I put 10 into Curses mainly to have a slight condition damage boost. Death Magic is maximized to get Death Nova.
Spite:
(III) Spite Removal - utility trait for survival.

(X) Training of the Master - (it's a picture typo on the gw2db calculator) makes your minions hit harder

(XII) Chill of Death - free cast of Spinal Shivers as it applies more conditions

Curses:
(II) Hemophilia - Just from the primary scepter/dagger set, you get 3 skills that apply Bleed.

Death Magic:
(III) Minion Master - cooldown reduction.

(X) Flesh of the Master - makes your minions for beefy.

(XI) Death Nova - as said previously, this plus Putrid Explosion will hurt.

Minor Trait Notes:
With (15) Protection of the Horde and (25) Deadly Strength, they work together in giving you a boost in Power when your minions are summoned.

Example of a condition spike chain:
Using Scepter Dagger:
Blood Curse --> Grasping Dead --> Enfeebling Blood --> Deathly Swarm --> Signet of Spite --> Putrid Explosion --> Feast of Corruption (for added damage and regain Life Force)

That's a pretty brutal chain. I would use Dagger/Warhorn if I need to regain some health back or create distance between my enemies. This is a good blend of being a Condition-mancer and a Minion Master in one.  It also shows another way a Minion Master can be a wrecking force without having an incredibly large horde.

[32] Guild Wars 2 Builds - Elementalist: Theme - "Long Live the Beifongs!" |PVE

By: Soul Step (Updated 7/13/2012)

(View Build)

I got to attend the Legend of Korra panel at SDCC earlier today. In honor of my favorite lineage of the series, I present you this build titled, "Long Live the Beifongs!" Earth element is the main focus here, obviously. There's no specific specialization in the traits, but I chose ones that would strengthen the skills.

Weapon Set:
Primary: Dagger/Focus

Healing, Utility, Elite Skills:
Healing:
(6) Signet of Restoration

Utility: All Earth Magic skills :P
(7) Signet of Earth - utility skill

(8) Armor of Earth - your protection/survival skill and boon steroid (through traits)

(9) Conjure Earth Shield - conjure weapons are great to use in teams

Elite:
(0) Glyph of Elementals - that Earth Elemental is a beefcake

Traits: Build output is 20/0/30/10/10. This build has good offense and a lot of defense and survivability.
Fire Magic:
(IV) Spell Slinger - to be used with Armor of Earth and giving you a power boost through the Might boon.

(VIII) Conjurer - extra charges for Conjure Earth Shield is a plus

Earth Magic:
(II) Signet Mastery - reduced cooldowns for your signets

(VIII) Elemental Shielding - a dagger/focus combos gives you 2 aura skills! So use it and get that extra Protection boon

(XI) Rock's Fortitude - nice utility especially when playing with a group

Water Magic:
(III) Soothing Disruption - gain the Regeneration and Vigor boons when you use Armor of Earth

Arcane Power:
(IV) Final Shielding - always handy especially with build as you're fighting close and mid range most of the time.

I personally love Earth magic and it goes in hand with me loving the Beifongs :D

[30] Guild Wars 2 Builds - Thief: Assassin Cross (Dungeon Edition) - Dual Dagger & Sword/Dagger |WvWvW, PVE and Dungeon

By: Soul Step (Updated 7/13/2012)

(View Build)

After watching the twitch TV broadcast by ArenaNet’s Eric Flannum and Colin Johanson, and hearing about Colin's favorite Elite skill Basilisk Venom and how he used it in dungeons, I decided to take a look at my Assassin Cross build which specializes in Venom Skills. I restructured the build to fit team play style and dungeon environments.

Weapon Set:
Primary: Dual Daggers
Secondary: Sword/Dagger

Healing, Utility, and Elite Skills:
Healing:
(6) Hide in Shadows - Good healing skill and allows you to go into stealth and set up your next rotation or escape if you're dying.

Utility:
(7) Spider Venom - Just like the Assassin Cross class from RO, this build specializes in Venom.

(8) Skale Venom - Another useful Venom build.

Three options for the last skill slot
(9) Roll for Initiative - Your survival skill
or
(9) Haste - If you want to be more on the offensive side, take this steroid boost.
or
(9) Ice Drake Venom - If you want all venom skills as your utility, then pick this one up as well.

Elite:
(0) Basilisk Venom - With the Venomous Aura, you and your team can coordinate a stone-lock (stun-lock) chain on Dungeon bosses.

Traits: Points distributed as 30/0/30/0/10 as you still retain your Power, but lose Crit for survivability and team support compared to the other Assassin Cross build.

Deadly Arts:
(IV) Venomous Strength - Gain might for using Venom? Why yes! You can get up from 4-6 stacks of Might!

(VIII) Quick Venoms - Another must have if specializing in Venom skills. Reduced cooldowns FTW!

(XII) Residual Venom - Again another must have as it makes your venom last longer.

Shadow Arts:
(II) Reviver's Deception - You and your team will be downed a number of times inside the dungeon. This is very helpful during a battle.

(IX) Leeching Venoms - Since you're specializing in Venoms, this is a great utility to have as it provides survivability.

(XII) Venomous Aura - gives your team your venom effects. This is a great utility for dungeon/team environments. As said earlier, with Basilisk Venom, you and your team can coordinate a stone-lock (stun-lock) chain on Dungeon bosses.

Trickery:
(V) Thrill of the Crime - I chose this as it's a good utility trait for team play and the 10 points increases your condition damage.

With this Dungeon edition of the Assassin Cross, you'll still be able to be damage power house as the damage lost through crit is distributed in giving your team Venom effects. This is great in helping applying pressure to enemies and bosses condition-wise.

[27] Guild Wars 2 Builds - Necromancer: Dagger/Warhorn & Axe/Dagger - Signet Build |PVE

By: RenDevilRun (7/11/2012)

(View Build)

Weapon Set:
Primary: Dagger/Warhorn
Secondary: Axe/Dagger

Healing, Utility, Elite Skills:
Healing:
(6) Consume Conditions - Works in hand with Plague Signet

Utility:
(7) Signet of Spite - more Power, the better
(8) Plague Signet - support skill where the passive works with Consumer Conditions or activate to spread your conditions
(9) Signet of the Locust - another handy utility skill

Elite:
(0) Lich Form - my favorite ultimate in the Necromancer profession

Traits: 30/20/0/20/0
Spite:
(IV) Signet Mastery - cooldown reducer
(VIII) Signet Mastery - gain Might when you use a signet
(XII) Chill of Death - extra damage to apply when your enemy has low health

Curses:
(II) Hemophilia - utility for your bleeding inducing skills
(VIII) Deep Breath - cooldown reducer for your warhorn skills

Blood Magic:
(I) Dagger Mastery - cooldown reducer for you dagger skills
(X) Quickening Thirst - utility bonus for using daggers

This is an offensive build, but the signets are a nice blend of offense and support to help you stay alive at short range.

[25] Guild Wars 2 Builds - Thief: Dagger/Pistol & Sword/Pistol Signet Build |PVE

By: RenDevilRun (Updated 7/11/2012)

(View Build)

Here's my take on the Thief profession and use of signets. The pistol is my personal favorite off-hand for the Thief and I'll be using it for both Primary and Secondary weapon sets. Additionally, to utilize signets in this build, you're going to have to max out Critical Strikes.

Weapon Set:
Primary: Dagger/Pistol
Secondary: Sword/Pistol

Healing, Utility, and Elite Skills:
Healing:
(6) Signet of Malice

Utility:
(7) Assassin Signet - passive increases power

(8) Signet of Agility - passive increases precision.

(9) Signet of Shadows - passive increases your movement speed.

Elite:
(0) Thieves Guild - When things get sticky, call your friends to come out to play.

Traits: 10/30/0/20/10

Deadly Arts:
(VI) Sundering Strike - works with a high critical build.

Critical Strikes:
(II) Signets of Power - 5 stacks of Might!
(VII) Fast Signets - your signet cooldown reducer
(XII) Signet Use - get some initiative back when you use your signet

Acrobatics:
(III) Vigorous Recovery  - good with your heal skill
(X) Martial Agility - move faster when you're using a sword.

Trickery:
(V) Thrill of the Crime - makes Steal more useful.

Your high critical hit and damage will make up for only having 100 in power. The thief are meant to be played as burst damage and you have enough vitality to stay in close combat longer.

[18] Guild Wars 2 Builds - Fun Time! - Elementalist: Dual Dagger "Appa, Yip Yip" Exploring Build |PVE

By: Soul Step (Updated 7/8/2012)

(View Build)

"Appa, Yip Yip." If you understand this infamous quote to relation to the build, then you truly are fantastic. This build is a fun purpose build, like when you're level 80 and want to explore the world of Tyria. With this build you can cover ground faster, make long jumps in puzzles and perhaps out of awesomeness feel like a true Air Bender :)

Weapon Set:
Primary: Dual Dagger

Healing, Utility, Elite Skills:
Healing:
(6) Glyph of Elemental Harmony - Use this for the Swiftness boon and proc the Inscription trait.

Utility:
(7) Signet of Air - The passive makes you faster!

(8) Cleansing Fire - Good overall utility and survival skill. Also to be used with  the Soothing Disruption trait.

(9) Glyph of Lesser Elementals - I just threw in another glyph with the lowest cool down that can be used with Inscription.

Elite:
(0) Tornado - Because it's Air related :)

Traits: Build output is 0/30/0/10/30 with the focus on making yourself fast as possible and provide some survivability.
Air Magic:
(IV) One With Air - The intention of the build is to stay attuned to air, and this will only make you faster.

(VIII) Inscription - To be used your glyphs and granting you the Swiftness boon when you're attuned to Air.

(XI) Zephyr's Boon - Shocking Aura + this trait = ZOOM!

Water Magic: 10 points here to provide you some health. More often than not, the extra health helps especially falling off ledges or walking into a trap in puzzles.
(III) Soothing Disruption - grants boons when you use Cleansing Fire. Definitely a good utility trait.

Arcane Power:
(V) Elemental Attunement - another way to receive the Swiftness boon.

(IX) Windborne Dagger - This will only make you faster!

(XI) Evasive Arcana - again another way to receive the Swiftness boon.

How to get that speed up:
This build provides a lot of ways to the Swiftness boon. You can perform a dodge while attuned to Air, use a glyph, or switch from an element back to air.

My personal favorite speed combo:
Shocking Aura --> Glyph of Elemental Harmony --> Glyph of Lesser Elementals --> Ride the Lightning

Using that combo will zoom you across the map. Also, you can use it to cross/jump wide platforms. And maybe one day, you'll see a fun loving soul running around Tyria shouting, "Appa, Yip Yip!"

[17] Guild Wars 2 Builds - Necromancer: Staff & Dual Dagger "Minion Master" Build |WvWvW and PVE

By: Soul Step (Updated 7/8/2012)

(View Build)

Ah yes, the Minion Master is back in Guild Wars 2! Like in Guild Wars, playing the role of Minion Master is fun and you can deal tons of damage while you're at it. This build uses the Staff if you want to be far ranged and Dual Daggers if you want to be on the battlefront with your minions.

Weapon Set:
Primary: Staff
Secondary: Dual Daggers

Healing, Utility, Elite Skills: All minions!
Healing:
(6) Summon Blood Fiend

Utility:
(7) Summon Bone Fiend

(8) Summon Bone Minions

(9) Summon Shadow Fiend

Elite:
(0) Summon Flesh Golem

Traits: Build output is 10/0/30/30/0. Minion Master specialization will come from the Death Magic and Blood Magic traits. I chose to put the last 10 points into Spite because it increases Power. Power works well with the Minion Master build because some of the minor traits will boost your Power.
Spite:
(III) Spiteful Removal - overall a great survival utility trait

Death Magic:
(III) Minion Master - standard in the Minion Master build. Cool downs :)

(X) Flesh of the Master standard in the Minion Master build. Extra health for your minions!

Two options for your Grandmaster trait:
Option 1:
(XI) Death Nova - good way to inflict a condition.
Option 2:
(XII) Necromatic Corruption - this is a great utility for your minions to have.

Minor Trait Notes:
(15) Protection of the Horde - +20 Toughnes for each minion under your control. With this build, you can have up to 6 minions which is +120 Toughness for you.
(25) Deadly Strength - 10% of Toughness is given as a bonus to Power. Like I stated earlier, the minor traits work in favor of Power. With Death Magic maxed, you get +300 toughness, plus +120 toughness when all your minions are out and alive, you'll get +42 in Power. It's a nice Power boost.

Blood Magic:
(II) Bloodthirst  -  mostly for extra utility when using dual daggers.

(VII) Vampiric Master - great survival utility trait for your minions and keeping you alive

(XI) Fetid Consumption - another useful utility trait for you minions to have.

Minor Trait Notes:
(25) Blood to Power - another boost for your Power output. +90 Power!

In perfect conditions/situation you can get a +132 Power Boost as a Minion Master! That's more damage for you and your minions. And with high toughness and health, you can afford to use dual daggers and fight in close range. Overall, being a Minion Master is just loads of fun :D

[15] Guild Wars 2 Builds - Necromancer: Scepter and Dagger/Warhorn off-hand "Corrupt and Dirty" Build |WvWvW and PVE

By: Soul Step (Updated 7/7/2012)

One aspect I loved about the Necromancer profession that carried over from Guild Wars 1, is the ability to apply conditions (debuffs) on enemies and spread them. It's like another way to deal damage aside from a direct damage route. This build is solely for that purpose, apply and stack conditions to multiple foes. You will be using Scepter and Dagger/Warhorn skills with Corruption specialization from your utility skills to get the job done.

You can use an Axe/Warhorn combo (I personally like that combo set) as the secondary for the extra skills that will be available, but this build should be effective on its own with just having the scepter and the two off-hands.

Weapon Set:
Primary: Scepter/Dagger
Secondary: Scepter/Warhorn

Healing, Utility, Elite Skills:
Healing:
(6) Consume Conditions - Use this in synergy with your Corruption skills as it removes your conditions. Great for condition and heal spiking.

Utility: All 3 of your utility skills are Corruptions .
(7) Corrupt Boon - Dirty move to use against your foe.

(8) Corrosive Poison - Great AOE to inflict conditions.

(9) Epidemic - Another great AOE to inflict conditions.

Elite:
(0) Plague - I love this skill as it is dirty and fun

Traits: Build set up as 20/30/10/0/10 as it'll provide great damage and crit, make your conditions more effective, specialize in Corruptions and provide some survivability.
Spite:
(III) Spiteful Removal - Good survival trait and works well with your Corruptions

(IX) Spiteful Vigor - Nice boon to have as it returns some damage back to foes.

Curses:
(II) Hemophilia - Makes Blood Curse, Grasping Dead and Enfeebling Blood more effective

(VII) Master of Corruption - a must have since you're specializing in Corruptions.

(XI) Lingering Curse - Your main weapon is the scepter as it makes the skill conditions last longer.

Death Magic:
(VI) Shrouded Removal - Another utility trait that work well with your Corruptions. Also, you use this for condition spiking and removing your own at the same time.

Soul Reaping:
(II) Vital Persistance - Useful if you want to stay longer in Death Shroud.

You can say this is a high risk, high reward build as the Corruption skills affect you as well. With some practice, you can time your rotations nicely and condition spike without worrying being gimped from the applied conditions on yourself.

[13] Guild Wars 2 Builds - Thief - Assassin Cross - Dual Dagger & Sword/Dagger | PVE

By: Soul Step (Updated 7/7/2012)

(View Build)

Have you ever heard of the MMORPG, Ragnarok Online (RO)? Then you must know what the Assassin Cross is! This build pays homage to my favorite class in RO which I have played so long ago.

Elite:
(0) Dagger Storm

Traits: Points distributed as 30/20/20/0/0 with an emphasis in Power, Crit, Stealth and Venom specialization.

Deadly Arts:
(IV) Venomous Strength - Gain might for using Venom? Why yes! You can get up from 4-6 stacks of Might!

(VIII) Quick Venoms - Another must have if specializing in Venom skills. Reduced cool downs FTW!

(XII) Residual Venom - Again another must have as it makes your venom last longer.

Critical Strikes:
(VI) Executioner - Useful in finishing off an opponent.

(VIII) Hidden Killer - Chance to deal massive damage when coming out of stealth.

Shadow Arts:
(V) Infusion of Shadow - Useful utility trait as it gives you some initiative back when going into stealth.

(IX) Leeching Venoms - Since you're specializing in Venoms, this is a great utility to have as it provides survivability.

This build will make you a venomous monster and provide good survivability in melee range. Definite build to use if you want to feel like an Assassin Cross :)

Do you like Black Widow from the Avengers? Here's your chance to be like her! This build uses dual daggers and pistols for melee and range damage.

Weapon Set:
Primary: Dual Daggers
Secondary: Dual Daggers

Healing, Utility, and Elite Skills:
Healing:
(6) Hide in Shadows - Good healing skill and allows you to go into stealth and set up your next rotation or escape if you're dying.

Utility: Black Widow is a master spy. This build uses tricks to reflect that.
(7) Scorpion Wire - Good gap closer and fun to use.

(8) Caltrops - This is just a great skill to have on your bar in general.

(9) Haste - Overall a great steroid boost.

Elite:
(0) Dagger Storm - This provides great damage and can be used to escaped if you're cornered or surrounded

Traits: This is a 30/0/0/20/20 as the focus lines are in Deadly Arts, Acrobatics and Trickery providing lots of physical damage and boost in your condition effectiveness.

Deadly Arts:
(I) Back Fighting - when you're downed, this gives you a better chance to rally

(X) Combined Training - Must have since you're using dual weapons.

(XI) Panic Strike - Useful when finishing off an enemy and they don't run away.

Acrobatics:
Two options for the Adept trait:
Option 1:
(IV) Assassin's Retreat - Nice boon reward for killing off an enemy.
Option 2:
(V) Fleet of Foot - Great survival/condition remover skill trait that comes when using dodge.

(VIII) Pain Response - Another great survival/condition remover skill trait.

Trickery:
Two options for Adept Trait:
Option 1:
(III) Uncatchable - Choose this if you want to have a better chance in surviving and keeping your distance. This also fits with the theme.
Option 2:
(V) Thrill of the Crime - Steal away! The boons you get gives you a great advantage

(VIII) Trickster - Must have since all your utility skills are Tricks.

[8] Guild Wars 2 Builds - Necromancer: Scepter/Dagger - Staff, Dirty AOE for sPVP | WvWvW | PVE

By: Soul Step

One aspect I loved about the Necromancer profession that carried over from Guild Wars 1, is the ability to apply conditions (debuffs) on enemies and spread them. It's like another way to deal damage aside from a direct damage route. This build is solely for that purpose, apply and stack conditions to multiple foes. You will be using Scepter/Dagger skills along with the Marks from the Staff set and Wells and Corruptions from your utility skills to get the job done.

Healing, Utility, and Elite Skills:
Healing: (6) Well of Blood - I chose this because it fits the AOE theme of the build and works in conjunction with Ritual Mastery.

Utility: You'll be using 2 Corruption skills and a Well skill

(7) Corrupt Boon

A very handy and useful skill. There are enemies who apply a number of boons on themselves and using this will take that advantage and turn it against them. In PVP, I like to use this on boon heavy players (*cough cough* Guardians).

(8) Epidemic

One of my favorite skills in Guild Wars 1. This one is all about spreading the love haha. Epidemic is essential when it comes to condition spiking mobs or opponents. Also ensures that no enemy is left clean. One of my favorite quick condition spike combo is using Corrupt Boon on a target followed by Epidemic.

(9) Well of Power

This is your other support/survival skill. With GW2 being a condition heavy game, it's good to have a skill that can negate them and give you buffs for a short time.

Elite:
(0) Plague

This is perfect for the build. Condition spiking FTW!

Traits: This is a 20/30/0/20/0 build, concentrating on Curses, Spite and Blood Magic.

Spite:

This is to synergize with your Mark skills from the Staff weapon set:

I believe the increased damage is applied to the damage per tick of the condition.

Your other chosen trait is Chill of Death as it will grant you a free cast of Spinal Shivers to a low health enemy.

This is very convenient, especially in PVP because when a player is low on health, they'll start to apply regeneration, defensive boons and Spinal Shivers will negate that.

Curses:
This is beneficial for

 from the Scepter/Dagger skill set

 from the Staff skill set

In sPVP and WvWvW I found that the majority of time, I'll be using the Scepter/Dagger longer than the Staff. With that in mind, this trait works really well as your scepter applied conditions have a longer duration.

This is for your 2 Corruption Utility skills. Shorter cooldowns means you can use it more over a period of time and making them more effective.

Blood Magic:

Simply to make the 2 Dagger skills more spammable as they are great AOE condition applying skills with mid-length cooldowns.

Same reason for choosing Dagger Mastery, lower cooldowns for wells FTW!

As you have seen most of your damage is done indirectly through condition application. Stacking conditions to your foes is another form of bringing an enemy down. One damage skill that does benefit from this build is
Feast of Corruption

In an optimal and perfect scenario, the most conditions you can have applied to a foe is about 7 in this build. From experience, I would have about 4-5 applied on average with 6 on occasion when cooldowns synced properly together. That said, it's 32-40% additional damage and with Curses maxed and 2/3 of the Spite line, Feast of Corruption will hit hard, especially when you get a critical hit.
