Guild Wars 2 Weapon Table: Sword

Weapon Table for the Sword.

Something unique about swords: main-hand swords always grant a gap-closer, while off-hand swords always grant a skill to block attacks.

Guild Wars 2 Weapon Table: Mace

The Guardian and Warrior Professions are the only ones who can use a mace in Guild Wars 2.

[24] Guild Wars 2 Builds - Warrior: Dual Sword & Dual Axe "Raging Dual-ist" Signet Build |PVE

By: Soul Step (Updated 7/10/2012)

Day 2 of the Signet build challenge. Today, I bring you my Warrior Signet build. This build uses dual weapons and has focus in Critical attacks.

Weapon Set:
Primary: Dual Sword - your melee single target set.
Secondary: Dual Axe - your melee AOE set.

Healing, Utility, Elite Skills:
Healing:
(6) Healing Signet

Utility:
(7) Signet of Might - passive improves your damage

(8) Signet of Fury - passive increases your critical chance

(9) Signet Stamina - survival skill

Elite:
(0) Signet of Rage

Traits: Build output is 10/30/0/0/30. Heavy concentration  getting high Critical chance and damage and making your burst skill more effective.
Strength:
(V) Berserker's Power - used for extra damage while building your adrenaline.

Arms:
(I) Deep Strike - your, "Oh yeah, get Crit!" trait. If you're not using all 5 of your signets, that's +200 Precision right there. Add that to the 300 from maximizing the Arms trait line and you'll get a whopping 500 Precision.

(VIII) Blademaster - since your main weapons are swords, this is a must for extra critical-hit chance.

(XII) Last Chance - a finish the kill trait. Cool down is kind of long but when it's used, it just feels too good to pass up.

Discipline: I decided to maximize this line for the extra critical and burst damage. It also encourages you weapon swap between your dual sword and axes often.

(III) Warrior's Sprint - I just like having a passive which will make you faster. It's a good gap closer or make kiting/escaping easier.

(VII) Signet Mastery - must have for a signet build

(XII) Adrenal Reserves - reduces the adrenaline required to use a burst skill, so you can use them more often and make it easier to build it to the max.

This is a pure offense/glass cannon type build. I guarantee you'll hit hard with high critical-chance and damage despite only having 100 in Power. Survivability will be pretty low in high number enemy fights. One-on-one though, you'll be a force to be reckoned with.

[16] Guild Wars 2 Builds - Warrior: Longbow/Rifle "Range Commander" |PVE

By: RenDevilRun (Updated 7/9/2012)

Hello all! Ren here. This is my first of hopefully many builds in the future know that I will be playing for a long time to come. Well, here is my first crack at describing a build as I'll use Soul Step's template. I might not be as descriptive as he is, but I'll put some general thoughts in here and there.

This is a ranged warrior build. Pure ranged for a warrior? That's something Guild Wars 2 will be good at. Break the boundary of what's expected a certain class to be.

Weapon Set:
Primary: Rifle
Secondary: Long Bow

Healing, Utility, Elite Skills:
Healing:
(6) Mending - I like the removal of the conditions

Utility:
I chose to use Shout skills because they're still useful at long range and it makes you feel like a commander
(7) "For Great Justice!"
(8) "Shake It Off!"
(9) "I Will Avenge You!"

Elite:
(0) Battle Standard - A nice skill to have in group settings. Drop it down when a fight gets sticky.

Traits: 10/30/0/30/0
Strength:
(II) Restorative Strength - Used with Mending making it more effective for condition removal

Arms
Maxed out this trait line for the rifle traits. From experience, a lot of ranged weapons need high precision to be effective.
(VI) Furious - chance to build up your adrenaline faster
(VII) Gun Mastery
(XI) Sniper

Tactics:
Maxed out this trait line to make the Shout skills more effective
(IV) Stronger Bowstrings - for your long bow
(VIII) Lung Capacity
(XII) Vigorous Shouts
